How I tend to think

No sacred process diagram. A few habits I keep coming back to.

01

Question the assumption

What are we assuming people already understand?

02

Make it testable

An idea becomes more useful once someone can disagree with it.

03

Watch what people actually do

Behaviour usually tells me more than the perfect answer.

04

Design for what goes wrong

Errors, constraints, edge cases and different ways of interacting matter.

Computer Science made me interested in systems. UX made me interested in the people using them.

I’m Debasish, a UX designer based in Milton Keynes. My work tends to begin with understanding how people actually behave and where existing systems stop working for them.
